Blue Gudgeon Dartfish
The Blue Gudgeon Dartfish is a slender, iridescent blue-green hoverer that lingers over sand and rubble near its burrow, darting for cover the instant it's startled. It's an easy, peaceful reef fish that takes mysis and brine shrimp readily, but it is a committed jumper — any gap in a lid or overflow will be found sooner or later. Best kept in a tightly covered tank with a deep sand bedDeep sand bed — a thick sand layer (roughly 10 cm or more) that hosts life and helps break down waste. and loose rubble for cover, as a mated pair or a small loose group.
