Copperband Butterflyfish
The classic long-snouted butterfly — pearly white crossed by copper-orange bands with a false eyespot on the rear fin — famous as a natural Aiptasia predator. That reputation is hit-or-miss: some individuals pick every Aiptasia clean, others ignore them, and the same fine tweezer-mouth will also nibble tubeworms, clam mantles and the occasional coral polyp, so it is reef-safeWon't harm corals or invertebrates, so it's safe to keep in a reef tank rather than a fish-only setup. only with caution. It is notoriously finicky to feed and must go into a well-established tank (6+ months) with peaceful tankmates; wild-caught, it can waste away if it never starts eating. One per tank, an advanced fish despite its popularity.
