Evansi Anthias
A striking Indian Ocean anthias — violet body under a clean lemon-yellow back — that hovers in the mid-water in loose groups. It is one of the more demanding anthias to establish: it ships and acclimates poorly and can be slow to feed, so it needs an experienced keeper, a mature tank and several small meaty feedings a day. Reef-safeWon't harm corals or invertebrates, so it's safe to keep in a reef tank rather than a fish-only setup. and peaceful once settled; keep as a single male with a group of females and give it high flow and open swimming room.
