Fire Shrimp
A strikingly bright scarlet cleaner shrimp from Indo-Pacific reefs, much shyer and more solitary than its skunk-cleaner cousin — it hides in caves and overhangs and is mostly active at night, with only its antennae visible in daylight. It does form fish-cleaning stations, though not every individual performs the behaviour reliably in captivity. Best kept singly or as a genuine bonded pairTwo fish that have paired off and settled together, tolerating each other for life., and notably more sensitive to shipping and acclimation stress than other Lysmata species.
