Majestic Angelfish
Also called the Blue Girdled Angel, this is one of the most striking large angels — an electric-blue body wrapped in a broad orange-gold saddle, with a yellow face and blue-rimmed fins. Reaching around 28-30 cm, it needs a big, mature tank with lots of live rock and can be shy and slow to settle when first introduced. It is not reef-safeWon't harm corals or invertebrates, so it's safe to keep in a reef tank rather than a fish-only setup.: it will nip stony and soft corals and pick at clam mantles, feeding naturally on sponges and tunicates. A stunning centrepiece for a fish-only or carefully chosen mixed system, but plan the aquarium around it from the start.
