One Spot Foxface
A rabbitfish with a bright yellow body, a black-and-white banded face and a single large black blotch on the flank that separates it from the plain Foxface Lo. Its dorsalOn the back or top of the animal, like the dorsal fin running along its spine. spines are venomousArmed with venom — usually delivered through spines — so it needs careful handling. — that is its defence, not a threat to tankmates, and it is the reason a peaceful herbivore this size can be housed alongside aggressive fish, but it also means you handle it carefully and never net it barehanded. It is a heavy grazer that will clear hair algae and eat nori all day; a well-fed one usually leaves corals alone, while a hungry one may nip soft corals, zoanthids and LPS, so this is a reef fish with an asterisk. At roughly 20 cm and always on the move it needs real swimming length, not just volume.
