It is the most peaceful and timid of the commonly kept clowns, easily bullied by assertive tankmates, so it belongs in a calm community and is best kept as a bonded pairTwo fish that have paired off and settled together, tolerating each other for life.. It associates readily with the magnificent (Heteractis magnifica) and other host anemones, but does fine without one.
