Red Sea Clownfish
The signature clownfish of the Red Sea, bicinctus is a warm yellow-orange fish crossed by two clean, black-edged white bands. It is one of the larger, more robust anemonefish, hardy and now readily captive-bred, making it an excellent hosting clown for a mixed reef. Females reach about 14 cm and can be feisty toward smaller anemonefish, so pair them and add them with confidence. It naturally partners bubble-tip and leathery anemones but thrives without one.
