Cinnamon Clownfish

Amphiprion melanopus

A rich cinnamon-red clownfish with black flanks and a single white head bar — hardy, widely captive-bred, and one of the tougher clowns, but also one of the more territorial. It is reef-safe and easy to feed, yet a settled pair will bully smaller or later-added fish and should not be mixed with other clownfish species. Best kept as a single bonded pair with tankmates that can hold their own; it happily hosts leathers, frogspawn or an anemone if offered.
