Chromis viridis

A shimmering blue-green schooling damsel and one of the cheapest, hardiest ways to add motion to a reef — a peaceful open-water planktivore that ignores corals and inverts entirely. It is best kept as a shoal of six or more, though keepers should know that captive groups often thin out to a dominant pair over time. Add plenty of numbers and open swimming space and expect some natural attrition rather than reading it as a compatibility problem.
