Wormfish
Curious Wormfish
Gunnellichthys curiosus
A slender, eel-like sand-dweller with orange-and-blue stripes that hovers just above the substrate and dives into a burrow the instant it's startled. Reef-safe and peaceful, but a determined jumper — an airtight lid is non-negotiable, since most losses in captivity come from escapes rather than disease.
Best in a group of 1+.
