Herald's Angelfish

Centropyge heraldi

A pure, saturated lemon-yellow dwarf angel — no markings, no contrasting trim, just a solid block of sunshine that glows against live rock. Reaching about 12 cm, Herald's is a hardy, adaptable Centropyge that spends its day picking algae and micro-crustaceans from the rockwork. It carries the classic dwarf-angel caveat: it may nip at LPS polyps, soft corals and clam mantles, so it is reef-safe only with supervision. Best kept one to a tank and given plenty of established rock to graze.
