Springer's Demoiselle is a deep cobalt-blue damsel flecked with fine black speckling — small, hardy, and among the more even-tempered members of the family. It stays close to rockwork, darting for cover when startled, and has a useful reputation as a flatworm grazer. Nippiness only really shows up when it is crowded into too small a tank, so give it established rock and swimming room.
