Tailspot Blenny

Ecsenius stigmatura

A characterful little rock-perching blenny with big eyes and a comic "hopping" swim, well-suited to nano reefs. It is peaceful toward other species and an eager algae grazer, though it will defend its patch against other blennies and may nip fleshy LPS if underfed. Despite its small size it is a determined jumper, so a covered tank is essential.
