Clownfish
Ocellaris Clownfish
Amphiprion ocellaris
The most-kept marine fish in the hobby and the classic beginner clownfish — hardy, widely captive-bred, and endlessly forgiving. A bonded pair defends a small territory near the rock or a host anemone but is otherwise peaceful with the rest of a reef community. It will host a bubble-tip anemone if offered, though it thrives without one.
Keep one or a bonded pair.
